{"id":1,"date":"2024-02-06T14:54:56","date_gmt":"2024-02-06T13:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites-lira.obspm.fr\/pelt\/?p=1"},"modified":"2024-02-08T10:56:55","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T09:56:55","slug":"bonjour-tout-le-monde","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites-lira.obspm.fr\/pelt\/2024\/02\/06\/bonjour-tout-le-monde\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Contexte<\/h1>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Par leur pouvoir collecteur et leur r\u00e9solution angulaire accessible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019optique adaptative, les extr\u00eamement grands t\u00e9lescopes (classe de 20 \u00e0 40m) vont r\u00e9volutionner l\u2019astronomie visible et infrarouge \u00e0 partir de la fin des ann\u00e9es 2020. L\u2019ESO a lanc\u00e9 la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019un t\u00e9lescope, appel\u00e9 \u00ab Extremely Large Telescope \u00bb (ELT), de 39m de diam\u00e8tre, et dont la premi\u00e8re lumi\u00e8re est pr\u00e9vue en 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Trois instruments de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration ont d\u00e9marr\u00e9 officiellement leur phase de conception fin 2015 : une cam\u00e9ra spectro-imageur proche IR (MICADO) et un module d\u2019OA multi-conjugu\u00e9 (MORFEO), un spectrographe \u00e0 champ int\u00e9gral proche IR (HARMONI) et une cam\u00e9ra spectro-imageur dans le moyen IR (METIS). Deux instruments de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, le spectrographe multi-objets MOSAIC et le spectrographe \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haute r\u00e9solution spectrale ANDES, ont d\u00e9marr\u00e9 officiellement leur phase de conception. Enfin, \u00e0 plus longue \u00e9ch\u00e9ance est pr\u00e9vu le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un spectro-imageur d\u2019exoplan\u00e8tes (PCS) qui fait actuellement l\u2019objet de plusieurs R&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Observatoire de Paris est impliqu\u00e9 dans la construction de deux de ces instruments, MICADO et MOSAIC, ainsi que dans la R&amp;D pr\u00e9paratoire \u00e0 PCS :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>au niveau co-I pour MICADO, avec la responsabilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;optique adaptative de premi\u00e8re lumi\u00e8re de l&rsquo;instrument ainsi que de son mode haut contraste.<\/li>\n<li>au niveau co-PI pour MOSAIC, avec la responsabilit\u00e9 au niveau syst\u00e8me de l&rsquo;instrument ainsi que des lots de travaux fibres et logiciel de r\u00e9duction de donn\u00e9es<\/li>\n<li>au niveau PI pour SPHERE+, avec la responsabilit\u00e9 du calculateur temps-r\u00e9el de son optique adaptative.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ainsi, pour soutenir son implication dans les d\u00e9veloppements instrumentaux li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;ELT, le Conseil Scientifique de l&rsquo;Observatoire de Paris a mis en place une action incitative, avec un soutien financier r\u00e9current sur quatre ans : l&rsquo;action incitative Programme Extremely Large Telescope (PELT).<\/p>\n<h1>Objectif de l&rsquo;action incitative PELT<\/h1>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>L\u2019action incitative (AI) PELT poursuit trois objectifs :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Dans la continuit\u00e9 de l\u2019ancienne action f\u00e9d\u00e9ratrice du CS \u00abInstrumentation de l\u2019ELT\u00bb, poursuivre le soutien indispensable au d\u00e9veloppement instrumental des deux projets MICADO et MOSAIC. MICADO est en train de finir sa phase de conception et rentre d&rsquo;ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9but 2024 dans sa phase de construction et MOSAIC a entam\u00e9 en 2023 sa phase de conception pour 6 ans : ils ont donc tous les deux des besoins importants sur ces aspects de d\u00e9veloppement instrumental.<\/li>\n<li>Au-del\u00e0 de ce premier objectif, pr\u00e9parer l\u2019exploitation scientifique de MICADO et MOSAIC, d\u2019une part en faisant \u00e9merger les programmes d\u2019observation MICADO que souhaitent porter les chercheurs des diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9partements de l\u2019Observatoire, d\u2019autre part en suscitant la d\u00e9finition de nouveaux cas scientifiques MOSAIC port\u00e9s par des chercheurs des diff\u00e9rents d\u00e9partements de l\u2019Observatoire.<\/li>\n<li>Enfin, favoriser les synergies (instrumentales et scientifiques) entre les instruments MICADO et MOSAIC et les autres projets d\u2019instruments de l\u2019Observatoire de Paris. Ces autres projets sont en premier lieu les autres projets VLT dans des gammes de longueurs d\u2019onde similaires : MOONS, Gravity+, Sphere+.
